![]() This is my first tutorial about PSP7. A friend asked me to do a simple button tutorial and I think there are better ways to create buttons than just using the "buttonize" function. I made quite a few screenshots again so please be patient while the pics load. If you have questions please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail. But now let's go! :)) Open a new picture("File"/"New", 300x60 pixels, background white, foreground dark yellow, resolution 150 p/inch. ![]() ![]()
Now
click on the little arrow on the styles foreground colour tab (on
the right below the big colour tab) and choose "flood fill" . Below
this you see the "texture" tab. Click on the arrow of the foreground
texture tab and choose "texture". Click on the foreground texture tab and choose "lands" from the catalogue.
![]() Now floodfill the new graphic by clicking into it. Click
on menu "selection"/"select all" (or press ctrl+a) to let the "ants
run around the whole picture".From here it's only a few steps to a great framed button. Open the inner bevel tool window by click on "Effects"/"3d effects"/"inner bevel". The following window opens: ![]() I cut the lower part of the window off because we only use a standard setting here. In the middle between the two preview pics you see a dropdown menu. Open it and choose "frame". Now the right preview looks different from the left one. Click "OK" on the bottom of the window and see the result. Since we still have the whole graphic selected use the keys "strg"+"d" to unselect the graphic. Voilà a framed button: ![]() This finishes the "Bevelled Button" tutorial.
